To provide expert advice, guidance and support on all people related matters. Working with Partners, Directors and other senior employees to support a high performance culture with a focus on resourcing, talent development and employee engagement. To lead on all of the local operational aspects for the office generally, directly supporting the local Practice Partner.


  • Provide robust HR advice and guidance to Partners, Directors and senior employees, acting as a trusted advisor on all people related issues
  • Take the lead on all the local office recruitment activity including liaising with local recruitment agents, candidates, attendance at Careers Fairs, setting up interviews and managing all recruitment administration, working closely with the Group Resourcing team to ensure the Group Recruitment protocols are adhered to
  • Ensure an accurate, compliant and efficient immigration process for relevant Luxembourg staff
  • Responsible for the liaison with the local Payroll provider and central team to ensure employee information supplied for payroll purposes is accurate and complies with all regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring that all relevant handbook policies and procedures are compliant with best practice globally and employment legislation locally
  • Coach and support all people managers to ensure continuous conversations are taking place with all employees with quality and timely feedback being provided in order to manage individual performance appropriately
  • Act as the first point of contact for all Group-related activity into the local business, challenge and influence local behavior to drive organizational performance, ensure compliance with Group procedures
  • Lead and take full accountability for delivery of ad-hoc people related projects
  • Lead, direct, motivate and manage the local operations teams day to day, whilst also ensuring regular contact with the central Business Services Managers to keep up to date on any planned changes or operational issues
  • Oversee the implementation of internal processes and policies to ensure the day to day operations of the local business are managed effectively and agree any required local adaptations with the central support teams
  • Be proactive in recognizing and pursuing opportunities for improving procedures, processes and controls
  • Provide accurate and relevant MI to Partners including interpretation and suggested actions where necessary



  • Extensive HR experience within a professional services environment, working with Senior Managers and Directors
  • Experience in GDPR with a particular focus on the HR environment
  • Proven track record in delivering sound generalist HR support and advice including performance management, talent development and employee engagement policies, to all levels within a medium / large sized business
  • Exposure to Luxembourg labour law and local legislation
  • Understanding of the Operations (office management, facility management) environment would be an asset
  • Used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders
  • Confident and organised, with an ability to hold difficult conversations, and to make decisions quickly
  • Proven experience in influencing and communicating at senior levels
  • Eye for detail and diligence to ensure accuracy of system, process and output
  • Personally organised
  • Team management experience
