Responsibilities

  • Oversee a diverse range of administrative and financial responsibilities for international fund clients, primarily operating in the Alternative Investment Fund sphere (Private Equity, Real Estate, Venture Capital, Debt, Infrastructure, etc)
  • Oversight and coordination of all client deliverables within a dedicated portfolio, according to the operating memoranda/SLA’s. Deliverables include, but are not limited to:
    • Day-to-day legal and administration tasks for funds
    • Review of, and drafting of, shareholder resolutions, EGM, AGM and board meetings
    • Attending board meetings and preparing minutes thereafter
    • Handling client portfolio including compliance, KYC and AML aspects
    • Handling client communication on a day-to-day basis
    • Incorporation of companies
    • Ensuring maintenance of client data base
    • Keeping the funds and related entities in legal good standing
  • Guiding the clients through more complex legal issues
  • Working closely with internal and external parties to ensure deadlines are met and quality is assured
  • Be the face to the clients around feedback on business as usual, improvement ideas, knowledge sharing, escalated operational issues/concerns and various other client queries
  • Prepare, review and coordinate internal senior management requests, reporting to senior management, KPI queries, staff time writing, payment of outstanding invoices and regular overall status updates on the dedicated portfolio of clients
  • Actively recruiting, coaching and training staff on all required elements of the job
  • Prepare and coordinate regular staff feedback and appraisal meetings
  • Working closely together with the implementation and onboarding teams for document review and setup of new client entities
  • Escalating and coordinating identified team/client needs and improvement points/ideas to consistently build and grow the fund services team in all aspects of the words

 

Your profile

  • Degree educated in Law
  • At least 7 years of relevant working experience in a similar position in the Trust, Fiduciary, Domiciliation or Law firm environment is required
  • Proven team management experience
  • Fluency in English is a MUST – any other languages will be a plus
  • PC literate
  • Ability to deal with client and professional advisors, thereby showing a commitment to providing a quality service
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to be highly disciplined
