Our client is a leading financial technology company offering onsite, online and mobile merchants, the ”One Stop Solution” to their Point of Sale, e-Payment and credit card processing transactions. Having been granted the license to operate as a payment institution by the Luxembourg regulator, our client is now searching to recruit the following profile:
Customer Funds Compliance Operation (Senior) Officer (m/f)

Responsibilities:
Directly accountable for compliance and daily operation of customer funds management
Work with Compliance/Legal/Finance on customer funds-related regulatory requirements, and support formulating customer funds management and account management solutions to comply with local regulatory requirements
Luxembourg/EU compliance and regulatory operation including but not limited to customer funds safeguarding and regulatory reporting
Responsible for the planning, completion, review, submission and reporting of local Regulatory reports and drive automation projects for Regulatory Reports and Safeguarding etc
Support local on-site regulatory audits and inspections and provide data and documents related to customer funds. Follow up and resolve any findings or gaps identified
Supervision of customer funds and businesses flows, conduct regular checks on transactions and provide reports on funds overview. This includes review and inspection of operations team's reconciliation and settlements are completed accurately and timely, with reviews on transactions and funds. This includes integration of new projects into the current operations
Cooperate with internal and external audits, for queries related to customer funds, and be responsible for the completion of customer funds related walkthrough testing and samples
Account management of customer funds bank accounts used for operations and safeguarding, including account opening and designation of bank accounts
Customer relationship maintenance and management through the process of customer funds operation and settlement
Profil recherché
Profile:
Degree educated in finance, banking, accounting, business
3-5 years’ work experience in top corporates/ banks or non-bank financial institutions/ consulting firms, with a focus on treasury or customer fund management
Knowledge of customer funds regulation and reporting obligation within banking or payment industry
Solid economics and finance background, with deep understanding in international trade, foreign exchange, money market, liquidity/funding/Customer funds settlement and reconciliation solutions
Strong self-motivation and entrepreneurship with a hands-on, structured, accurate and result oriented working style
Adaptive to a fast-changing working environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with cross-functional teams
Fluency in English (written and oral), French and Mandarin are plus
