Job description

Responsibilities

  • Administration: coordinate the signature process of legal documents (Docusign, notarisation, apostille) for deal closings and day to day documentation. Assist with basic admin and legal tasks such as bank account openings. Help maintaining the company digital and physical archives.

  • KYC Due Diligence: Assist in conducting thorough KYC reviews on new and existing clients and relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This includes gathering documentation and conducting background checks. Answer any KYC requests on our structures.

  • Risk Assessment: Assist in evaluating risk profiles based on collected data, identifying any potential red flags and escalating concerns as necessary.

  • Reporting: prepare and maintain accurate records of KYC processes and documentation and management of KYC files and issues in compliance with the regulations in force and internal procedures. Reports findings to senior management.

  • Regulatory compliance: stay up to date with relevant regulations and industry standards pertaining to KYC, AML and CDD and ensuring compliance with internal processes relating to legal and corporate tasks.

  • Collaboration: work closely with other departments, including investment team and operations to ensure a cohesive approach of the tasks at hand.

Required profile

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, law or a related field. A relevant professional certification is a plus.

  • 2 years of relevant working experience within the financial sector, preferably in Luxembourg or the EU.

  • Strong understanding of KYC regulations, AML laws and financial crime prevention measures. Familiarity with Luxembourg regulatory requirements is an advantage.

  • Fluent in English – a (very) good level in French will also be appreciated

  • Highly motivated, multi-tasking, able to work efficiently under pressure and proactive

  • Solid communication skills and a team player
