Our client, a worldwide industrial company, is currently searching for the following profile, based at their headquarter in Luxembourg:
Commercial Assistant Europe (m/f)
Under the supervision of the Commercial Director, the Commercial Assistant Europe is responsible for assisting in all the commercial activities of the department in project management of main strategic plans for market statistic searches, analytical data and their implementation through KPI’s dashboard.
The Commercial Assistant supports the department in various aspects, including the management of main contracts and the follow-up of Key account price policy and acts as a backup for the pricing department and Marketing and communication coordinator.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of business plans (market data analysis, competitive analysis, SWOT, product positioning, trends, etc)
Generate market researches and analysis for new business opportunities and new markets by gathering information from several sources to match SBM/Key account requirements
· Prepare monthly reports on sales numbers by segment and on product families
· Update various KPI’s for the commercial department
· Assist the Market Development Managers (MDM) in the preparation of a price list for critical Accounts :
Tracking of raw material variation over period of reference
Calculation of impact on customers’ spent
Update of price lists
Support for Sales force working with non-European currencies
· Update SharePoint with new price lists
· Communicate with other subsidiaries in order to coordinate actions with regard to projects, on a global scale
· Ensure Marketing & Communication Coordinator’s back-up when needed
· Backup & assistance responsibilities:
Marketing & Communication: helps promoting the company and products’ visibility internally and externally through a marketing program developed by the Marketing Communication Coordinator. Replaces the MC Coordinator in case of absence
Pricing: Acts as a backup for the Pricing Administrator in case of absence
Perform all other additional projects and duties as assigned by management
Required profile
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Economy or in Business
At least 6 years of relevant working experience in similar position
Fluency in both French and English (German will be a plus)
PC Literate
Excellent organizational skills
Customer-oriented
Proven analytical mind
