Job description
Responsibilities
Coordinate all legal and fiscal activities related to their International Non-Life Business (e.g. market entry in EU countries)
Monitor the evolution of legal and fiscal regulations in EU countries regarding Freedom of Services and analyse their impact on their Non-Life insurance business
Ensure the implementation of new European legislation and regulations in order to contribute to the compliance of their branch by drafting notes, procedures, legal analyses, etc
Participate in the preparation and updating of pre-contractual and contractual documentation for their Non-Life insurance products, commercial and legal documents for clients, partners and external service providers
Assist the dedicated team members in their relations with partners or clients and answering their legal questions
Check, draft and assist in the negotiation of all types of contracts binding the branch
Liaise with external legal advisors and local supervisory authorities
Required profile
Profile
Successful University degree in legal studies (Master 2)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in Insurance related to legal affairs with ideally an international scope
Fluency in English is a pre-requisite - any other language is a plus
Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills
Entrepreneurial and innovative spirit
Agility in a complex and changing environment and ease of adaptation in the work
Rigor, structured work methodology and a spirit of synthesis
Analytical sense and strong results and client orientation
A great capacity to work independently combined with an excellent team spirit
Good knowledge of MS Office tools
