Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure client entities remain in good legal standing by maintaining compliance with applicable local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards

• Support the setup and ongoing administration of corporate, fund, and private legal structures

• Deliver comprehensive corporate secretarial services and assist with a broad range of corporate and transactional matters

• Monitor and manage compliance timelines to help clients meet regulatory and legal obligations efficiently and on time

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date corporate records and documentation for client entities

• Serve as the key liaison between clients, advisors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment

• Uphold and strengthen the firm’s reputation as a trusted and proactive provider of trust and corporate services

• Act as a gatekeeper by promoting financial system integrity and ensuring adherence to WFT (Wet Financieel Toezicht) and related compliance framework

Required profile

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dutch Law, Corporate Law, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent legal qualification

• 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience within trust or financial services, a law firm, or a corporate legal department

• Prior experience managing a complex client portfolio in a corporate secretarial capacity is highly desirable

• Proven expertise in corporate secretarial services, including entity management, legal compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory filings. A strong understanding of legal and procedural requirements related to entity lifecycle management is essential

• Excellent communication skills in both English – a (very) good level in Dutch will be a real asset

• Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to evaluate legal and business issues, identify risks, and propose pragmatic solutions

• Detail-oriented and precise, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness across all tasks
